All registration fees include VAT @ 20%
Early registration fees are only available for those who register and make full payment before the early registration deadline. If you register and do not make payment by the early registration deadline you will be invoiced for the late registration fee.
Monday 8th May 2023 is an official UK bank holiday. Please consider this when booking travel and accommodation. This will not affect the Technical Tours or the Conference.
*The presenter discount is available to accepted presenters (both oral and poster). Notification of outcome will be provided on 27th of February 2023 and on this day, a unique link will be sent to accepted authors with the discounted fees registration form. It is not possible to book the discounted fees ahead of this time. Presenters must register prior to the 13th of March to confirm their acceptance to present, presenters who have not registered by the 13th of March and still intend on presenting, will pay the late fee.
*Please note that registration fees remain unchanged since 2017.

MEMBER REGISTRATION FEES
Please note that only IBD members with up-to-date subscriptions are eligible to benefit from the member registration fees. Please contact the society directly with any queries about your membership subscription: customer.support@ibd.org.uk

STUDENT MEMBER FEES
To register as a student you must be a full time under- or post-graduation student. We may request further proof of your student status.
PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES
Full payment must be made by credit/debit card at the time of registering. Cards accepted are Visa, Visa Debit and MasterCard. Unfortunately, we cannot accept American Express, Visa Purchasing or Maestro.
You will not gain access to the conference unless full payment has been received. On receipt of your registration form, a confirmation email and receipt will be sent to you by the conference organisers. If you have not received this within 5 working days of registering, please contact the conference organisers by emailing wdsc@in-conference.org.uk
STANDARD CANCELLATION TERMS
All alterations or cancellations to your registration must be made in writing and will be acknowledged by email. Notification should be sent to wdsc@in-conference.org.uk
An administration charge of £40.00 will be made to any participant cancelling before 7 April 2023. Cancellations received after 7 April 2023 will be required to pay a full registration fee. However, if you are unable to attend, substitutes are welcome at no additional cost.
By submitting your registration, you agree to the terms of the cancellation policy.
Substitutions
Substitutions are allowed for delegates. Please notify the WDSC 2023 Conference secretariat in writing if substitutions are required at wdsc@in-conference.org.uk.
No Shows will NOT be refunded.
ACCOMMODATION
Please thoroughly check the cancellation policy with your selected hotel prior to booking.
We recommend that all attendees consider travel insurance.
Liability
By no means shall WDSC 2023 be held liable, either directly or indirectly, for any problematic issue that may occur within the framework of the conference and its organization, not only with respect to the organizers but also with respect to third parties (airline companies, hotels, transportation, taxis, etc.) while in the performance of duties or services even indirectly related to the conference.
This contractual liability exemption clause is equally valid in case of an event of force majeure which leads to the disruption and/or the partial or complete cancellation of the conference programme, for reasons not attributable to WDSC 2023. An event of force majeure is defined as an unforeseen and exceptional event – be it climatic, environmental, political or socio-economic – and does not imply any limitation.
Furthermore, the delegate also expressly agrees to totally absolve WDSC 2023 from any responsibility and liability about travel insurance and related costs or claims. It is solely up to the individual to seek out and purchase or otherwise obtain the necessary insurance with regards to his/her travel, etc. and/or to independently issue a claim against any third party that may be responsible for direct or indirect losses or damages caused to or suffered by the delegate en route to and from the conference.
Data Protection Act 1998/2003
The World Distilled Spirits Conference will use your personal data only for purposes connected to this conference and no details will be passed onto any third parties.
Validity of Passports
It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport is valid for travel, and we recommend that you check with your local Embassy. Please note that some countries require your passport to be valid for up to 3 months from the date of return.
Important Message
Please be aware of unofficial websites offering hotel accommodation and registration packages. They are not representing WDSC 2023, and you should only book via this website for registration.
